Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria

Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria entered public life through active involvement in Rajasthan’s regional politics, gradually building recognition within the Bharatiya Janata Party. His early political activities focused on grassroots engagement and organisational responsibilities, which helped establish his standing within the party structure.

He first achieved electoral success at the state level in 2013, when he was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from the Pilani constituency as a BJP candidate. This victory marked his formal entry into legislative politics and provided him with experience in state governance and Assembly proceedings.

During his tenure as an MLA between 2013 and 2018, Jaunapuria focused on constituency representation and participation in legislative debates. His performance at the state level positioned him as a viable candidate for parliamentary politics within the BJP.

In 2019, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Tonk–Sawai Madhopur constituency, defeating the Indian National Congress candidate. His election to Parliament marked his transition from state to national politics, where he represented Rajasthan’s interests in the lower house.

He served as a Member of Parliament from 2019 to 2024, participating in parliamentary business and constituency-related initiatives.

As of 2026, he continues to remain politically active within the BJP, contributing through party roles and public engagement, despite not holding a current legislative office.
