Satish Chandra Dubey

Satish Chandra Dubey is an Indian politician from Bihar, who has also the Minister of State for Coal and Mines in the Government of India since July 11, 2024. He was born May 2, 1975, in Bettiah, West Champaran, Bihar. He is the son of a family with a political background. Dubey did his schooling at T.P. Verma College, Narkatiaganj, and he is an agriculturist by profession.

He was elected as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Chanpatia constituency in 2005, which was the beginning of his political career. In 2010, he was again elected from the Narkatiaganj constituency. Dubey decided to join the Lok Sabha in 2014 by winning the Valmiki Nagar seat. He was a Member of Parliament of the 16th Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019.

In October 2019, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar. In addition to his legislative duties, Dubey has been on the panel for the Standing Committee on Labour and has taken part in various other committees.

Dubey has been addressing issues of agriculture, rural development, and infrastructure with utmost care throughout his career. He is still very active in the political arena of Bihar and is doing the same with a great level of energy and commitment towards the sustainable development of the region.
