Sakaldeep Rajbhar

Salkadeep Rajbhar is an Indian politician. He is a member of parliament, representing Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament. He is one of the oldest Bharatiya Janta Party leaders in the state and has been associated with the Sang.

Sakaldeep Rajbhar Biography

Salkadeep Rajbhar was born to Mahngi Prasad and Samrajia Devi in Bihra Harpur on 1st January 1956.

Rajbhar's journey in politics began after his active involvement in the B.J.P. State Working Committee in Uttar Pradesh, where he held significant positions including State Vice-President (OBC) and District incharge for Sant Kabir Nagar.

His political career took a significant leap in April 2018 when he was elected to Rajya Sabha. Since then, he has diligently served on various parliamentary committees, including the Committee on Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution from June 2018 to May 2019 and again from September 2019 onwards. Alongside, he became a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Jal Shakti in October 2019 and the Committee on Government Assurances in July 2020. His commitment to welfare extended further as he became a member of the Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes in December 2021.

Outside of his political commitments, Rajbhar finds joy in wrestling, football, and kabaddi.

Alongside his political engagements, he maintains a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Ramawati Devi, and their son.
