Santosh Gangwar Biography

Santosh Kumar Gangwar is one of the senior leaders of the BJP. He is a member of Parliament for the city of Bareilly since 1989. He retained the position consecutively for six terms losing the election in 2009. However, he reclaimed his stake in the constituency in 2014. He also served as a Union Minister of State (Independent-Charge) in the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Before his foray into politics, Gangwar was actively involved in establishing the Urban Cooperative Bank in Bareilly and held the chairman post.
