Rustam Singh is a former police officer and now an active politician in Madhya Pradesh. He is an MLA from Morena seat. Singh was SP in Jabalpur, Indore and Raipur for consecutive eight years. Took voluntary retirement from the post of IGP. Received President's Medal for meritorious and distinguished service. In 2003, he was elected as a member of 12th Vidhan Sabha and worked as Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, Food and Civil Supplies, Public Health and Family Welfare, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare, Biodiversity and Biotechnology and Panchayat and Rural Development Deptt.
