S N Narayanaswamy K M

S.​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ N. Narayanaswamy K.M., is a senior Congress leader from the Indian National Congress known for his clout in the democratic politics. Born on 1 June 1968 in Kolar district, Karnataka, he is a deep-rooted leader of Congress in the backward class dominated Bangarapet (SC) constituency. Descended from a typical agricultural family of the rural milieu (his father Muniyappa was a farmer), Narayanaswamy got the taste of the village issues from his early days and later these issues became his prime political concern areas.

With a B.A. dehaverom the GITAM Deemed-to-be-University under his belt, he took the plunge and joined the Indian National Congress actively. With his strong grass-root level presence and struggle for Scheduled Caste welfare which is his life-long mission, he was able to gain victory in the Karnataka Assemblywill elections of 2013 from Bangarapet. He continued to hold the seat in 2018 as well as in 2023, thus he became a familiar face and a trusted representative in the region.

As an MLA, Narayanaswamy has been promoting mainly infrastructure development, education accessibility, and housing schemes for underprivileged families. His problem-solving method of managing the constituency and concerted efforts with the panchayats have been his strengths which he has been rewarded with vast recognition within the party.

In 2024, he was assigned the role of Chairman at the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), engaged in enhancing the urban planning and project financing all over the state. By 2025, Narayanaswamy equally perform the duties of an MLA from Bangarapet and those of a senior party functionary, where he is actively involved in the congress's development-oriented governance ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌agenda.
