Prestone Tynsong Biography

Prestone Tynsong is an Indian politician and the present Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya. In March 2023, he took oath as the 4th Dy CM, being a member of the National People's Party. Tynsong is serving the position along with Snaiwbhalang Dhar in the Conrad Sangma led cabinet. He is also the Minister of District Council Affairs Department, Home (Police) Department, Parliamentary Affairs Department, Public Works Department (R) and Public Works Department (B) in the govt. of Meghalaya.
Earlier, Tynsong became the deputy CM for the first time in 2018. For the unversed, the politician was affiliated with the Indian National Congress party till 2017.
