Mohammed Nadimul Haque

Mohammed Nadimul Haque was born to Mohd. Wasimul Haque and Nilofar Naaz in Kolkata on 20th September 1969. He married Farah Khan in 1997 and was blessed with two children.
He was elected to the upper house of the Indian parliament, the Rajya Sabha from West Bengal in 2018 in the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).

As a dedicated representative, he serves as a member of the Committee on Transport, Tourism, and Culture, the Committee on Information Technology, and the Committee on Industry, striving to contribute meaningfully to each domain's development and progress.

He is honoured to be a member of various esteemed committees within the Government of West Bengal, including the Press Accreditation Committee, the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation, the Governing Body of the Urdu Academy, the Mohammedan Burial Board under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, and the Citizens Committee within the Kolkata Police.

Additionally, he holds the esteemed positions of both Chairperson of the West Bengal Haj Committee and Member of the Board of Auqaf.

He is associated with educational and cultural activities. Apart from this, he has a keen interest in sports.
