Manas Ranjan Mangaraj

Manas Ranjan Mangaraj was born to Nrusingh Charan Mangaraj and Sradhanjali Mangaraj in Cuttack on 19th February 1971. He married Dr. Gayatribala Panda and was blessed with one son with her.

As the General Secretary overseeing Media Affairs and the National Spokesperson for the Biju Janata Dal, he brings extensive experience in communication strategy and political representation.

He was elected to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India from Odisha as a member of the Biju Janata Dal in 2022.

He serves as a member of various important committees. Firstly, he is a member of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA). Additionally, he is a member of the Committee on Transport, Tourism, and Culture. Furthermore, he contributes to shaping policies as a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Lastly, he serves as a member of the Committee of Privileges.

Formerly serving as the Media Advisor for the Government of Odisha, he possesses a deep understanding of media dynamics and governmental operations, contributing effectively to the advancement of our party's goals and messaging.
