Laxman Sangappa Savadi Biography

Laxman Savadi was born on February 16, 1960 to Mr. Sangappa's family. He is a Businessman and Agriculturist by profession. On the other hand, he is a politician of the Indian National Congress party since 2023.
Savadi has been playing an important role as Politician, who is an MLC and the former Deputy Chief Minister of K'nataka. He was also the Minister of Transport, Minister of Co-operation and the Minister of Transport in the government of Karnataka. However, Savadi recently won as MLA representing the Athani constituency by bagging over 131,404 number of votes.

Notably, Laxman Savadi was a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party until 2023. Before the election, he announced resignation from the party in protest against the leadership's decision not to include him in the candidates list.
