Lakya Anantharamaiah Ravi Subramanya is briefly known as L. A. Ravi Subramanya. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and won the Karnataka Legislative Assembly multiple times since 2008. He is the representative of Basavanagudi constituency in Bangalore. In the 2023 assembly election, he won again from the same constituency with 61.47 per cent of votes.
On the personal front, L. A. Ravi Subramanya was born on May 20, 1958, to Anatharamaiah L.V. at Chikmagalur. He is married to Manjula Ravi Subramanya.
