Kamlesh Paswan Biography

Kamlesh Paswan, born on August 6th, 1976, in Gorakhpur to Om Prakash Paswan and Subhawati Devi, is an esteemed Indian politician hailing from a family with a political legacy. Tragically, his father, also a politician, met his demise in 1996 while addressing a public meeting.

Paswan's political journey began with his successful contest in the 15th Lok Sabha elections from the Bansgaon constituency, defeating Shree Nath Ji of Bahujan Samaj Party. His victory marked the beginning of a series of electoral triumphs as he retained his seat in the subsequent 16th and 17th Lok Sabha elections.
