Inigo Irudhayaraj

Inigo S. Irudayaraj is a political leader from Tamil Nadu representing the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, elected as MLA from the Tiruchirappalli (East) Assembly constituency in 2021. He secured over 94,000 votes and won by a margin exceeding 53,000 votes, marking a strong electoral entry into the state legislature.

Before entering politics, he established himself as an industrialist and founded the “Christuva Nallenna Iyakkam” (Christian Goodwill Movement), through which he built community-level influence, particularly among minority groups in the region.

As MLA, he has focused on constituency issues such as urban infrastructure and resource allocation, including raising concerns in the Assembly regarding funding disparities and water supply challenges in Tiruchirappalli East.

His political identity is closely tied to minority outreach and constituency-based welfare efforts, including reported initiatives such as supporting education for underprivileged students and facilitating housing benefits.

As of April 2026, he is contesting the Tamil Nadu Assembly election from the Tiruchirappalli (East) constituency, continuing his active engagement in state politics and public affairs.
