• 2014 : He retained his position in the 16th Lok Sabha by once again defeating Abdul Bari Siddiqui's bid to the Madhubani seat.
• 2009 : Yadav was re-elected to 15th Lok Sabha elections where he defeated Abdulbari Siddiki of RJD by a margin of 9927 votes.
