M M Hassan Biography

M. M. Hassan was born in 1947 and became a leader of the Indian National Congress and a former Minister in the Government of Kerala. 2017 March 25 he became president of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Hassan was introduced to active politics through the Kerala Students Union (KSU) and became the state president of KSU. He was then elected as the Senate member and Chairman of the Kerala University Union.

2001 : He moved to Kayamkulam assembly seat and successfully contested. He defeated G Sudhakaran of CPM. He became Minister for Information and Parliamentary Affairs in the Ministry headed by A. K.
