The youngest candidate from YSRCP to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Goddeti Madhavi was elected into 17th Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 221,000 votes from Araku constituency. This was the fourth-largest margin in the state. A former physical education teacher, she vowed to deliver healthcare, institutional deliveries and nutritious food in the tribal areas of her constituency. She is a daughter of late Goddeti Demudu, a communist leader and former legislator. Madhavi joined YSRCP in 2018.
