Dr. Talari Rangaiah Biography

Dr. Talari Rangaiah was born to Talari Rangaiah and Venkatamma in Gosupadu on 3rd June 1970. He is from a very humble background but he shined through his education and career because of academic excellence. He married Talari Usha in 1998 and they have two children.
He was a project director in the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA). He voluntarily announced retirement from his post as Additional Director in the handloom department of DRDA in the Anantapur district. He had been serving in the Group -1 service for twenty years before stepping into politics.
In February 2018, he joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party after being invited by the party's leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, during his tour in Timmapalem of Ponnaluru Mandal. His decision to enter politics boosted the YSR Congress party's presence in the Anantapur district.
In 2019, he won a seat in the 17th Lok Sabha representing the Anantapur Constituency, securing a massive lead of 6,95,208 votes as a member of the YSRCP.
During his time in office, he served on various committees such as the Standing Committee on Rural Development and the Committee of Privileges. He was also appointed as a member of the Consultative Committee and served as the Minister of Textiles.
