He was born on 12 May 1982 to Margani Nageswara Rao and Prasuna in Tirupati, Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh. His father was the Chairperson of BC, JAC from Andhra Pradesh, and was the Municipal Commissioner of Rajahmundry.
He got married to Mona Margani in 2013 and is now bledded by two daughters.
His interest lies in watching movies, modelling, travelling and in sports cricket, badminton, snooker and table tennis. He was even a state-level player in the cricket game.
