Dr. Virendra Kumar, a distinguished educationist and stalwart Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, hails from Sagar in Madhya Pradesh. Born on 27th February 1954 to Amar Singh and Sumat Rani.

From his early years, Dr. Kumar's association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) laid the foundation of his commitment to national service. He embarked on his journey in student activism as the Convenor of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (A.B.V.P.) in Sagar District, championing the cause of students and initiating vital reforms, including the establishment of libraries for educational enrichment.
