Ashoke Dinda is an Indian cricketer one-day international and T-20 international matches for India. He is regarded as a stalwart in Bengals and domestic cricket and also played for many franchises in the Indian Premium League, the most popular cricket league in the world. He was a right-arm medium fast bowler.
After hanging his boot, Dinda joined the Bharatiya Janta Party and contested West Bengal Assembly Election in 2021 from Moyna constituency of East Medinipur district. Like his cricket career, his maiden election too saw sharp in and out swing but at the end he had the final laugh when he was declared victorious.
