Asha Kumari is a politician, who is the leader of INC political party and an All-India Congress Committee secreter. She has also been serving representing Dalhousie constituency. Besides, she served as the former AICC in charge of Punjab and also an education minister from 2003 to 2005. Other than that, Asha Kumari is the daughter of former Minister Madhya Pradesh Govt., Smt. Devendra Kumari and Retd. Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Madneshwar Saran Singh Deo. She was born on September 23, 1955, at New Delhi and pursued B.A degree from MLB Girls College Bhopal. Her husband’s name was Shri R.K. Brijendra Singh; she is the mother of one daughter, who is an Agriculturist. Notably, Asha Kumari was awarded the best Parliamentarian Awards for outstanding attendance in House Committees in the year 1994-95.
