Akhanda Srinivas Murthy Biography

R Akhanda Srinivas Murthy was a part of the Indian National Congress party until 2023. He has served as MLA being the representative of the Pulakeshinagar constituency as a candidate of INC. Earlier, he was also an MLA from the same constituency as a member of the Janata Dal (Secular) from 2013 to 2018.
Notably, after the denial of INC ticket for its forthcoming assembly election, Akhanda decided to resign from the party on April 16, 2023. Thereafter, he nominated himself as an Independent candidate for the upcoming election.
