Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, widely known as Yaduveer Wadiyar, holds the position as the 27th Custodian of the Royal House of Mysore. He was born on March 24, 1992, as 'Yaduveer Gopal Raj Urs' to Smt. Tripurasundari Devi and Sri Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs, belonging to the respected 'Bettada Kote' Ursu family. His lineage traces back through his mother, the daughter of Princess Gayatri Devi and Sardar K.B. Ramachandra Raj Urs, and his father, the late H.H. Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar. Yaduveer's ancestry includes illustrious figures such as his grandfather, H.H. Dr. Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar Bahadur, and grandmother, H.H. Tripurasundarammani Avaru.

In his capacity as a scion of the Royal House of Mysore, Yaduveer Wadiyar upholds the rich heritage and cultural legacy of the Wadiyars, spanning over six centuries. He actively participates in preserving the cultural essence of the Deccan.

Aside from his royal duties, Yaduveer Wadiyar is deeply involved in various philanthropic endeavours. He serves as the President/Trustee of the Sri Jayachamarajendra Ursu Education Trust in Mysore, and holds ambassadorial and advisory roles at the Kalisu Foundation, Mysore, and as a Trustee of the Sri Jayachamrajendra Art Gallery, Mysore.

Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar's educational journey began in Bangalore, where he attended Vidya Sagar for his primary schooling. He obtained his ICSE Certificate, equivalent to the 10th grade, from Vidya Niketan School in Bangalore in 2008. Continuing his studies, he pursued the IB Diploma program at the Canadian International School in Bangalore, completing his 12th grade in 2010. Subsequently, he enrolled at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, and graduated in 2015.

Yaduveer Wadiyar earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics and English. During his final semester at the university in the USA, he returned to Mysore. There, on February 23, 2015, at the Mysore Palace, he was formally adopted by H.H. Rajamata Dr. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, the wife of the late H.H. Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar. This adoption marked a significant milestone, leading to Yaduveer being renamed Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar.

Following the adoption ceremony, Yaduveer returned to the United States to complete his degree.
