Subhranshu Roy

Subhranshu​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Roy is a politician from West Bengal who has developed his career through political activities at the grassroots level and his continuous participation in local politics. As he was born into a well-known political family, being the son of Mukul Roy, he had a chance to witness quite closely the changes in the electoral dynamics as well as the functioning of the party. Subhranshu's first step in politics was inside Trinamool Congress, where he was involved in local unit activities, and later he made his debut in electoral politics.

In fact, Subhranshu, throughout his career, has confronted changes of political loyalties that reflect the political whirl of West Bengal happening at the same time. In spite of these changes, he still went on with his career in public life by paying more attention to visiting the electorate, the development of the area, and also taking the party's organisational work. His period in office as an MLA from Kanchrapara brought him recognition, and even after losing in elections, he is determined to continue working on local issues and keep up his political ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌standing.
