Simranjit Singh Mann is a former police officer from Punjab and MP and the president of the political party Shiromani Akali Dal in Amritsar.
Mann is a three-time MP, who comes from a military-political background, his father Joginder Singh Mann, was a speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in 1967.
