She pursued higher education, completing a B.A. and B.Ed. from Vidyasagar University before entering public service and politics as a social worker. Her professional background and community involvement contributed to her political rise within the Trinamool Congress.
Saha began her electoral journey with the All India Trinamool Congress and successfully contested the 2016 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election from the Keshpur (SC) constituency, winning by a large margin and affirming her strong local support base.
