Satish Jarkiholi

Satish‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Laxmanrao Jarkiholi (born 1 June 1962, Gokak, Belagavi district) is a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress in Karnataka. In 2025, he is the Cabinet Minister for the Public Works Department (PWD) in the Karnataka government and is a member of the Legislative Assembly from Yemakanmardi (ST) constituency, Belagavi district.

Being an entrepreneur in the sugar industry and a leader of the tribal community, Jarkiholi has been recognized by the masses for his social work at the grassroots level and his fearless speaking ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌manner.

Satish Laxmanrao Jarkiholi has been serving as the Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Yemakanmardi constituency since 2008. Presently, he won the 2023 assembly election from Yemakanmardi constituency as an INC candidate. He is also the Working President of KPCC.

Jarkiholi also served as the Minister of Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka from 22 December 2018 to 23 July 2019. Moreover, he was the forest and environment minister in the H. D. Kumarswamy cabinet.

He is the brother of politicians Ramesh Jarkiholi and Balachandra Jarkiholi, who are representing Gokak and Arabhavi legislative constituencies respectively.
