VPR Mining Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., is a renowned mining company recognized globally for its exceptional execution and skilled workforce, comprising over 3000 individuals. In 2015, Prabhakar Reddy Vemireddy demonstrated his commitment to community development by establishing the VPR Foundation. This philanthropic organisation focuses on empowering the underprivileged by establishing free educational and healthcare centres in the Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh.

In the political arena, his journey has been eventful. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in April 2018, representing Andhra Pradesh under the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party.
