After a long struggle of 25 years, Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) candidate Nanjaiah Mahesh won in Kollegala Constituency in Chamarajanagar district. N Mahesh, a post graduate in economics from Bangalore University. He is a prominent face of BSP in Karnataka for the last 25 years. Mahesh is the Karnataka state president of BSP. He won the Kollegal assembly constituency in his fourth attempt.
