Mangesh Ramesh Chavan

Mangesh Ramesh Chavan, a politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, has his political influence in the Chalisgaon Assembly constituency. He had previously participated in local-level public and party activities and thus was well aware of the local issues concerning agriculture, rural infrastructure, and cooperative institutions before entering the state assembly.

He stepped into state-level electoral politics in 2019 when he ran for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections from Chalisgaon with a BJP ticket. The election resulted in his victory, and he became a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, marking his first term as a legislator. By 2025, Mangesh Ramesh Chavan is an active MLA from Chalisgaon who participates in all the Assembly proceedings, participating in the BJP organizational activities in the state of Maharashtra.
