Dr. L Murugan Biography
Dr L Murugan is an Indian politician and currently serving as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the government of India.
He was born on 29 May 1977 in Paramathi of Namakkal district in the southern state. A postgraduate in law from Madras University, L Murugan carries over 15 years of enriching and successful career as a lawyer.
He is a practising lawyer in Madras High Court. He was appointed the state chief of BJP in Tamil Nadu on 11 March 2020. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh in 2024 on the BJP ticket. Before this, he also served as the Vice President of the National Commission for the Underprivileged.
Apart from handing big responsibilities, he enjoys playing table tennis in his free time.
