A Medical Practitioner by Profession is the current member of the 16th Lok Sabha. He represents the Alwar constituency of Rajasthan and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) party. He also has been a member of legislative assembly of Rajasthan from Behror constituency twice. He has served as the medical superintendent of SMS hospital Jaipur.
