In February 2024, Karan assumed the role of president of the Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association, succeeding his father, who held the position for 12 years. Before this, Karan served as the vice president of the association for 8 years. Furthermore, Karan holds the position of chief at the Cooperative Village Development Bank in Gonda.
The BJP announced his name as the candidate for the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh for the 18th Lok Sabha elections.
