Kanak Vardhan singh deo,A prominent politician from Odsha is a Member of Singhdeo, the royal family of Balangir in Orissa. His father is late Raj Raj singh deo. After completing his graduation from Delhi University, He plunged in active politics in 1995 when he contested from Patnagarh constituency in Bolangir district.And he was elected to the assembly. From then he repeatedly elected to the 12th,13th,14th and 15th Odisha assembly. He also served as cabinet minister twice in 2000 and 2004 under Naveen Patnaik BJD govt.
Apart from his political life ,He is also an Agriculturist and engaged in social service. He holds special interests in Music,Basket ball and Cricket. His wife Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo is three time MP representing Bolangir constituency of Odisha.
