Jyoti Mirdha, granddaughter of prominent politician Nathuram Mirdha and daughter of Ram Prakash Mirdha & Veena Mirdha, was born in New Delhi on July 26, 1972.

She secured a victory in the 15th Lok Sabha elections from Nagaur constituency but faced defeat in the 16th Lok Sabha elections.

An advocate for health and family welfare, Mirdha championed initiatives to control pharmaceutical drug prices. She has a keen interest in water resources, alternative medicine, particularly nutrition, and renewable energy. Additionally, she delves into architecture, sports, computers, and documentaries.
