Meanwhile, he represents as an independent candidate from Dehra constituency. In June 2022, he decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Beside this, Hoshyar Singh was born on October 2, 1966, to Shri Amar Singh and Smt. Vidya Devi at Malad East Mumbai, Maharashtra. Mr. Singh is married to Smt. Punita, and they have two daughters.
