Biography
Giriraj Singh is an Indian politician. He belongs to BJP. He is the Member of Parliament from the Nawada constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. He is Currently Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India. He was a former minister in the cabinet of Nitish Kumar. He served as Minister of Cooperative, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Resource Development in the Government of Bihar. Giriraj Singh was born on 8 September 1952 in Barahiya Lakhisarai, Bihar. Giriraj Singh has done his schooling from the Government run school of Barahiya and went on to graduate from Magadh University, Bihar in 1971. He belongs to the Bhumihar community. He get married to Uma Sinha. The couple has one daughter.
