Bishweswar Tudu was born to Sukul Tudu and Buduj Tudu in Khuntapal on 28th March 1965. He married Sumitra Tudu in 1998 and was blessed with three children with her.
He was elected to the 17th Lok Sabha from the Mayurbhanj constituency in Odisha on the Bharatiya Janata Party ticket in the 2019 general elections.
Additionally, he is a Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
He participates in many social & cultural programmes. He is also involved with Vidya Bharati Shiksha and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.
