Ali Imran Ramz

Ali Imran Ramz began his political journey through student activism, where he became involved in campus-level movements focusing on education rights, student welfare, and democratic participation. His early engagement in student organisations laid the foundation for his entry into organised political activity.

He rose to prominence through the Muslim Students Federation (MSF), the student wing of the Indian Union Muslim League. During this phase, Ramz held leadership positions that required coordination of statewide student campaigns, protests, and policy advocacy related to higher education and minority representation.

As his profile grew, Ramz transitioned into broader youth politics within the IUML. He became associated with the party’s youth wing, where he worked on organisational strengthening, political training, and mobilisation of young voters across Kerala.

Ramz’s political career has also included participation in electoral politics, where he contested assembly elections as a representative of the United Democratic Front alliance. Though not always successful electorally, these campaigns enhanced his visibility and experience in mass politics.

Beyond electoral contests, Ali Imran Ramz has remained active in issue-based politics, frequently voicing concerns related to civil liberties, minority rights, education policy, and youth employment. His political communication has largely focused on mobilising young supporters and articulating policy demands.

As of 2026, Ramz continues to function as a prominent youth leader within the IUML, maintaining an active presence in organisational politics, public debates, and grassroots mobilisation across Kerala.
