A.K Antony is an Indian Politician and three-time chief minister of Kerala. His first two stints as chief minister was constituted as brief, stepping in on the heels of K. Karunakaran resignation from office. He served a full term as chief minister in 2001. In addition to serving as chief minister, he was elected in Rajya Sabha for five terms and was a member of Legislative Assembly for four terms. He also served as the Minister of Defense for almost a decade catapulting him into the stature of the longest-serving minister in this position.
