Vikramjit Singh Sahney was born on February 20th, 1962, in Kotkapura, Punjab, to Gurcharan Singh Sahney and Mohinder Kaur.

He is widely recognised as a highly acclaimed humanitarian, social activist, and philanthropist. Currently serving as the International President of the World Punjabi Organisation (WPO) and Chairperson of the Sun Foundation, he has dedicated himself to empowering the youth and women in India.

The Sun Foundation, under his guidance, operates prestigious skill development centres in Punjab and Delhi, alongside initiatives for drug de-addiction and rehabilitation. Notably, the foundation has extended its support to Afghan Sikhs and Hindu refugees, ensuring their daily needs, medical care, and education.

Vikramjit Singh Sahney's contributions extend beyond philanthropy. He has served as the Former Honourary Consul for the Republic of South Africa and Chairperson of BRICS AGRI Business Council.
