Sushil Kumar Rinku Biography

Sushil Kumar Rinku was born to Pushpa Rani and long-time Congress councillor Ram Lal. He too has served as a councillor two times so far. He was born in Jalandhar on 5th June 1975. He married Sunita in 2006 and he was blessed with one son with her. His wife has also served as a councillor once up till now.
He was elected to the 17th Lok Sabha from the Jalandhar constituency in Punjab in the 2023 bye-elections. The Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat became vacant after the sudden demise of Congress MP Santokh Singh Chowdhary by a heart attack during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Before this, he was a Member of the Legislative Assembly as a Congress candidate from Jalandhar West in 2017. Then he switched to Aam Aadmi Party for better opportunities on 5 April 2023.
