Journalist Supriya Shrinate is a National Spokesperson & Member Coordination Group of Indian National Congress Party. Before joining politics she was working as an Executive Editor with Times Group. Shrinate did her schooling at Loreto Convent, Lucknow and later earned a Master of Arts degree in History from University of Delhi.
In early 2019, Shrinate quit journalism and joined the INC and the Congress party fielded her from the Maharajganj constituency of Uttar Pradesh in the general election held in April 2019. She could not win her maiden election but she earned the faith and appreciation of Congress leadership.
The party nominated her in the panel of spokesperson and an eloquent and firebrand spokesperson Shrinate is often seen putting parties views and defending party's stand strongly on various subjects in TV debates.
