Shashikala​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Jolle is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Karnataka. She is recognized for her ground-level political style and emphasis on the empowerment of women and is the elected representative of Nippani constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

She has, in a way, become a leader of the most influential council in the northern Karnataka region, and at the same time, she has been able to combine social welfare and governance activities in her ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌work.

Annasaheb​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Jolle's wife, Shashikala Jolle, was brought up in the village of Examba, Belagavi district, Karnataka, on 20th August 1969. She earned her bachelor's degree from Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, and has been a voluntary contributor to the social and communal programs of rural women. Before her political career, Shashikala was extensively involved in the cooperative sector and engaged in philanthropic activities, broadly focusing on the education and self-employment of women in north Karnataka.

Her political path was affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), through which she has become one of the top women leaders of the region. Jolle, a person of strong moral virtue and direct link with the public at the grassroots level, has since 2013 represented the Nippani constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. She has made herself vocal and visible in her advocacy of rural infrastructure, healthcare, and the empowerment of the marginalized sections of society.

In addition to that, Shashikala Jolle was a Minister for Women and Child Development and then held a portfolio that included Muzrai, Empowerment of Differently Abled, and Senior Citizens in the cabinet that was led by Basavaraj Bommai. She (2023–2025), during her tenure, concentrated on the extension of nutritional welfare and other welfare programs for women and children, anganwadi infrastructure enhancement, and the launching of state-level initiatives for the elderly and disabled. The projects of her ministry were said to have been instrumental in expanding participation at the local level and bringing in transparency in the operational aspect.

She is the wife of Annasaheb Jolle, a BJP Member of Parliament from Chikkodi. She and her husband, along with their siblings-in-law and re-election, are among the prominent political families in Belagavi who are known for their uninterrupted success at the polls and for their developmental outreach. She continues to be perceived as a person who cares for the community and is socially loyal, and implements women-centric ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌governance.
