Pramod Boro was born on March 1, 1975, in Tamulpur, Assam, India. He became well known through his active involvement in the Bodoland movement and later entered mainstream politics. In 2020, he became the president of UPPL and also served as the Chief Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Council. He represented the Koklabari constituency and held the CEM post from December 15, 2020, to October 4, 2025.
