Jayant Chaudhary Biography

Jayant Chaudhary was born to Ajit Singh and Radhika Singh in Dallas, USA, on 27 December 1978. He is the President of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). In 2009, he won the 15th Lok Sabha election from the Mathura constituency but lost the 2014 elections to actress-turned-politician Hema Malini.

In 2022, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha to represent Uttar Pradesh under the RLD banner. Following the 2024 general elections, he was inducted into the cabinet for the first time and currently holds the position of Minister of State with Independent Charge for both the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Education.

Beyond politics, Jayant Chaudhary enjoys playing chess and cricket and cherishes the arts and listening to music. He married Charu Singh in 2003, and they have two daughters. His net worth is Rs 52,40,93,536.
