Inder Dutt Lakhanpal is an Indian MLA representing the Barsar constituency. He won the elections in two terms in 2012 and 2017 by the Indian National Congress party.
Lakhanpal entered into local politics in 1997, and in state level from 2012. During that time, he got elected as MLA representing Barsar constituency for the first time. Mr. Lakhanpal was born on October 27, 1962, in Shimla to Salig Ram Lakhanpal. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Himachal Pradesh.
