A corporate stooge in her previous life, Chavvi Rajawat quit the 9 to 5 corporate hole to help develop rural India. Not affiliated with any political party, she was elected the sarpanch of Soda village in Rajasthan in 2010. She worked for Airtel and Times of India and came back to serve the villages to the best of her capabilities. She is credited with changing the face of rural Rajasthan. After becoming the Sarpanch of the village, she has implemented many projects successfully i.e. rainwater harvesting, toilets facilities in most of the houses, etc.
