Bhupendra Rajnikantbhai Patel has created history when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat as a first time MLA. A member of the Bharatiya Janta Party, Mr. Patel has scaled up a long journey from a councilor to the chief minister of a state.
Born and brought up in Ahmedabad Gujarat, he got his Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Government Polytechnic Ahmedabad and started his construction venture. He gradually strode in politics and went on to become the chairman of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority. He has also served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
Notably, Bhupendra Patel is the first Chief Minister who comes from Kadava Patel Community. He is considered to be close to Anandiben Patel, the former chief minister of Gujarat.
For the unversed, Bhupendra Patel took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the second time on December 12, 2022, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel conducted a meeting to oversee the ongoing Cyclone 'Biparjoy' condition. During this cyclone, electric poles and trees were uprooted due to the landfall in Gujarat's coastal areas.
Bhupendra Patel took oath as the 18th Chief Minister of Gujarat on December 12, 2022. Political dignitaries such as Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and many others were also seen during the ceremony.
Before this, CM Patel was inducted into the position for the first time on September 13, 2021.
