Balwan Singh Daulatpuria was born on 3 March 1968 in Fatehabad, Haryana, where he grew up and developed an early interest in public life and politics. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and took an active role in community and local political affairs in his home district.
Daulatpuria’s legislative career began when he was elected as a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Fatehabad in 2014, representing the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).
